Since the MMI laser never hits a cell directly, living cells can be dissected and recultivated easily with the mmi LiveCell Chamber system. The metal ring also has a membrane that is cut with the laser. The cut out cells remain in the LiveCell Chamber while the others are removed with the metal ring.
